PENANG June 5, 2008 - Motorola, Inc. (NYSE: MOT), a leading innovator of broadband communications and two-way wireless radio networks today announced that Motorola Technology Sdn Bhd will collaborate with Malaysian Amateur Radio Transmitters’ Society (“MARTS”) to establish its first Amateur Radio Club within up to 40 secondary schools nationwide by end of the year aimed at spurring a keen interest for technology and innovation amongst students.

KUALA LUMPUR October 10, 2007 - MARTS congratulates Dr Sheikh Muszaphar Shukor, 9W2MUS, on his successful lift-off to the International Space Station.

Nationwide events have been planned to make contacts with the International Space Station, NA1SS.

TIME Engineering Bhd through their corporate social responsibility program and TIME Amateur Radio Club, is organizing events at school to enable students to listen in to the conversation.  There are four schools involved in this project on October 20, 2007 starting from 20:30 hrs local time (12:30 UTC).

1. SMK Datuk Haji Mohd Nor Ahmad, Gelugor, Penang
2. SMK Sultan Muzaffar Shah 1, Lambor Kanan, Perak
3. SMK Kelana Jaya, SS4, Petaling Jaya, Selangor
4. SK Kg Melayu Nyior, Kluang, Johor

Members of MARTS will be assisting TIME to make the evening event an enjoyable one.

MARTS will also relay live contact from the National Planetatium on October 20, 2007 evening onto MARTS-Motorola national link repeaters.  JOTA stations are encoraged to listen in this transmission.

On October 19, 2007, NTV7 news at 18:30 hrs broadcasted a news coverage on MARTS and ISS project.  8TV news at 20:00 hrs also reported the same event.
